The Challenge

A newly formed record label, based in Los Angeles, Blank City releases limited-edition 7" singles pressed on actual x-rays (known as bone records). We designed a fittingly funereal logo (bone records naturally degrade and have a finite amount of plays) and packaging system.

The outcome

The label has been putting out bone records by a variety of bands and has since used the identity to expand into hosting events.
