Century stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and all those fighting for equality.

Recent events have put a long-overdue spotlight on violence against Black people, as well as the underlying systemic racism that gives rise to these terrible crimes. First and foremost, Century is still a small, nascent company, and we are building it as we go. In order to ensure that we create the anti-racist company that we envision, we need to constantly expand our knowledge, understand our role in the problem and challenge our own biases. To do that, we will dedicate time to education about race, diversity and inclusion.

So far we have donated $2000 to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the Love Land Foundation and the Black Visions Collective. We will continue to donate to organizations that are fighting racism as well as local groups that support Bay Area Black and minority communities. We will also continue to participate in local protests and demonstrations.
